Units we build.
Work we take.

American Made Transmission Xchange repairs automatic GM, Ford, and Chrysler transmissions only. One specialty means the right parts on the shelf, the right tooling on the bench, and rebuilds that come back fast.

Four ways to work with us

Rebuild · Exchange · Install · Diagnostics

01 / Rebuild

Transmission Rebuild

We remanufacture your customer's own unit: full teardown, inspection, updated components that address the known failure points, refinished case, new bushings, and assembly to factory spec or better. The unit that comes back is the unit that went in — only stronger.

02 / Exchange

Exchange Program

Need the bay back today? We ship a remanufactured unit and you return the core within 7 days. Cores must include the torque converter — see Cores & Core Returns for the details before you ship.

03 / Install

Removal & Installation

For local vehicles, bring us the truck and we handle the rest: removal, installation of the rebuilt unit, fluid service, and road verification before it leaves the shop.

04 / Diagnostics

Diagnostics

Not sure it's the transmission? Send scanner codes, symptoms, and a photo through our quote form. We'll read the codes and give you a straight answer before any money changes hands.

Built ahead, shipped fast

Remanufactured units on the shelf

The high-volume units below are our bread and butter. Because we build them constantly, exchange stock is often ready to ship — and every one carries the same written warranty as a custom rebuild.
